Valentine’s Day Weekend of Love
From our wedding receptions of the past, surprise engagements on brewery tours, to first dates turned into lifelong commitments, there is no shortness of love found here at Lakefront Brewery. That’s why we’re taking the weekend of Valentine’s Day to safely allow couples to celebrate their relationships in a variety of ways.
Like in recent years, we are offering our all-in-one, affordable, and memorable wedding ceremonies and vow renewals. Whether you’re looking to actually tie the knot, or simply renew your vows, we’re accepting reservations to do either one. Bookings are available during business hours on Sunday, February 14th but can extend through the weekend based on interest. Ceremonies and renewals will last approximately 5 to 10 minutes. Upgrades from flowers, to photography, to personalized pint glasses, desserts, and even the option to reserve a table to dine with us afterwards are available when you book (look for the Upgrades button). Upgrades are not required. Experiences can be kept as simple as you would like.
The safety of our staff and guests is of the utmost importance, therefore, the following rules will be set in place to keep everyone comfortable during their special day:
- Couples can bring up to 4 guests with them to enjoy the experience.
- All persons must wear a proper face covering at all times. Not only to enter the building but during all ceremonies and vow renewals in their entirety. Married couples may pull their mask down for their first kiss. Groups dining with us afterwards may remove their masks at their table when eating and drinking.
- All persons must maintain proper social distancing at all times while on premise. We will provide a private room that will not only be a beautiful space for the occasion but will allow everyone to spread out properly.
- Our practiced, ordained officiants will stand behind a podium fit with a plexiglass divider.
- We require a proper marriage license if booking a ceremony. Vow renewals require no paperwork. (see the FAQ below for more information regarding the license)
Weddings for 2021 are no longer available. You may still make reservations for our Hop House Experience or Dine-in for the Beer Hall.

Ceremony/Vow Renewal FAQ
Unfortunately, our Beer Hall and dining operation are only set up to allow groups of 6 or less to dine with us. This allows us to keep everyone at a safe distance throughout our building. Depending on your situation, we may be able to make small adjustments. Give us a call at 414-292-0803 to inquire.
Yes, you will need a proper marriage license. Applications take a minimum of 1 week to be processed, so please prepare accordingly. Any state license is valid in Milwaukee County. Use Lakefront Brewery’s address (1872 N Commerce St, Milwaukee, WI 53212), phone number (414-372-8800), and the name Russ Klisch as your officiant when filling out your application.
Of course! We welcome it. Feel free to have one of your guests utilize a device to allow more family/friends to witness the occasion. We’re happy to help but may not be able to actually be in the room with you depending on our social distancing guidelines.
Yes, as long as they wear a proper face covering while in the building at all times. That being said, we do recommend our photographer as an affordable and high-quality option.
You can, but with the possible fluctuation in timing, we can’t promise fluidity with your reservation time. You also will not receive the included beverages or seating in our semi-private tour room. If dining with us afterwards, we recommend adding that upgrade to your reservation.
We ask that all couples arrive in a timely manner. Showing up late may result in issues with the day’s schedule. Therefore, we may have to hold your ceremony off for an undetermined amount of time or reschedule for another day/time. Please arrive about 5-10 minutes early.
We ask that couples show up about 5-10 minutes before their ceremony/vow renewal. We will likely have multiple couples/groups here and want to make sure we can keep everyone at a safe social distance.
We ask that you upgrade your reservation while booking. We will do our best to accommodate upgrades after booking but cannot promise anything as we will need to order everything ahead for delivery by Valentine’s Day.
Yes, but this year we plan to do them virtually over Zoom. Grab a Lakefront beer, your loved one, and look for details on mass vow renewals straight from Russ, the owner’s, desk. These will be free to attend.
