Since 1987, Lakefront Brewery has been a leader in brewing the best beers in Wisconsin. (Actually, we’re now winning awards all over the world!) In addition to our award-winning beer, year after year we are winning awards for our fish fries, cheese curds, and brewery tours. Come be a part of the team behind it all!

You may notice we mostly hire for entry-level jobs. That’s because when other positions open, the company prefers to promote from within. All positions are part-time to start unless a specific posting indicates full time. Availability is critical. You must have open availability for all positions for most days of the week, especially Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays!

Positions Available at the Brewery

PRODUCTION

LOGISTICS COORDINATOR / TRUCK DRIVER (Full-Time)
Pay: Based on Experience
Availability: Weekdays, Year-Round
Description: Move raw materials and finished products between the warehouse and brewery, and accurately record the same. Accountable for the storage and movement of packaging materials and recording of receipts and transfers in Orchestrated Beer. Must have a good driving record and be willing to earn a CDL license.

MOVEMENT:
– Determine needs and get all packaging products on the truck for the next day’s use at the brewery.
– Load, transport, and unload raw materials, finished products between the warehouse and brewery, and accurately record in Orchestrated Beer.
– Get all packaging materials in place to start the line, take timely breaks, and clean up at the end of the day.
– Keep the packaging line stocked with packaging materials to prevent unnecessary stoppages and keep the daily runs on schedule.
– Help on the canning line and in the warehouse when directed.

TRACKING:
– Track inventory of all packaging-related materials and communicate to the Packaging Manager promptly when the inventory should be reordered.
– Receive, organize, and put away packaging products at the warehouse.  Organize and rotate packaging using the FIFO system. 
– Records receipts/transfers from the warehouse of packaging materials in Orchestrated Beer.
– Keep track of empty plastic can pallets, slip sheets, record them in inventory, and properly store them.
– Assist warehouse manager in arranging/scheduling Dunnage returns to Berlin (can supplier).
– Keep track of the Chep and regular pallet inventories.  Make sure old pallets are disposed of properly.
– Enter finished product from the brewery to the warehouse in Orchestrated Beer.

TRUCK MANAGEMENT:
– Add gas, oil, coolant, and washer fluid.
– Perform scheduled cleaning of the truck.
– Keep the truck heater plugged in during the winter months.
– Troubleshoot problems with the truck.
– Keep management aware of needed truck maintenance and problems that arise.

FRONT OF HOUSE

RESTAURANT SERVICE OPENING (Part-Time)
Pay: $11/hr + Tips (Starting Pay, Growth Available)
Availability: Weekends, Seasonal
Description: Our Restaurant Service Team is trained in all front-of-house roles to provide the most flexibility and variety possible. You will be trained in Hosting, Cashiering, Bussing, Gift Shop, and Bartending. Training for Tour Guide and Serving is available based on business needs and individual success.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
– Greet guests as they come to the service counter, and ensure each guest is served efficiently.
– Take food orders from guests while maintaining a courteous demeanor at all times.
– Communicate any special needs of the guest to the kitchen staff.
– Run food to tables.
– Pre-bus and bus tables during service time.
– Daily setup, side work, and closing duties.
– Ability to lift up to 45 pounds unassisted on occasion.
– Maintain Beer Hall atmosphere by ensuring each guest has a clean and orderly environment to enjoy themselves.

WHAT YOU KNOW & CAN DO:
– Ability to understand, read, speak, and write English to fully comprehend guest requests.
– Ability to remember, recite, and promote a variety of menu items.
– Ability to move through a crowded room to deliver food to guests.
– Ability to relay important guest requests to the kitchen
