About the Brew

    About the Brewer:

This beer was brewed by Rob, Cellar Operator here at Lakefront. It’s his job to make sure all those tall, shiny fermentation tanks get cleaned and sanitized. He also handles yeast management, which kinda resembles ranching, but with trillions of microscopic cattle that graze on unfermented beer instead of grass.

After getting the last eukaryotic li’l doggie to mosey, Rob likes diving head first into the fantastic world of tabletop RPGs. Not satisfied just building characters with pen and paper, Rob enjoys assembling and painting models, too. But right now, he’s got a wedding to get to. Congrats, Rob!

    About the Beer:

Remembering the celebratory spirit of beer, Rob brewed this Wedding Beer to serve at his own wedding. Rob wanted a beer that’s a little weird without weirding people out. As Rob said himself, “beer can be such a happy, celebratory thing, as are weddings…” Couldn’ta said it better ourselves, Rob!

Using the historic “Champagne of the North,” Berliner Weisse, as inspiration, expect this lively, straw-colored and somewhat hazy ale to show off an enjoyable, lemonade-like tartness and fresh-baked sourdough bread flavor from a hearty portion of malted wheat. Pairs well with celebration, festivity, and revelry.
