25th Anniversary Vol. II – Belgian-Style Apricot Ale Belgian-Style Apricot Ale

The second volume of our Anniversary Series is this Belgian-style apricot ale. Pours a golden-orange color from the apricot purée with a fine, off-white head. The apricot-forward nose, followed by spice and malt, gives way to mild pear and melon esters followed by a biscuity malt aroma. The fruit melds well with the malty sweetness, like apricot preserves on a fresh baked biscuit, while earthy and spicy U.S. Saaz hops balance the sweet entry. Apricot, malt, and spicy hop flavors all linger, a refreshing crowd pleaser on a summer day.

Tasting Notes
Two-Row Pale, Pale Wheat, Belgian Aromatic Malt
Mt. Hood, U.S. Saaz
This fruit-infused Belgian begs to be paired with a turkey leg with an apricot glaze, grilled chicken topped with apricot or peach relish, or a tempeh wrap with apricot chutney. Also try it with a wedge of earthy and nutty gruyere.
