This beer was brewed by Nolan, Sales Rep. here at Lakefront. Nolan’s job involves maintaining rapport with the bars, restaurants and stores that sell our beer. That usually means setting up promotions and special events, even if that event requires sporting lederhosen and chainsawing tree stumps.
Nolan doesn’t spend every weekend lugging yellow Lakefront promo tents around in his hatchback. Instead, he and his wife pile in with camping gear, tent and a loyal doggies along for a weekend in the great outdoors. If there’s no tent in his hatch, it’s cause he’s hitting the links, and there’s a set of golf clubs back there.

About the Beer:
Nolan’s main reason for brewing this Irish Export Stout: he’d have something to drink while watching a match at the pub. So, even if his team disappoints him, his beer’s still good. He also brewed it for another reason: to pay homage to his family’s Irish heritage.
The big sibling to the Irish Stout, this Export Stout promises to deliver, well, extra. Pouring up pitch black with a tan head and a complex aroma of dark chocolate and biscuit aromas. Fuller-bodied than a standard stout, flavors of dark roasted malt, cold brew coffee and cocoa powder are balanced with a hint of caramel sweetness.
