Strawbharbie Release Party!

It’s time again for our annual Pink Boots Collaboration Day beer! In our 6th year, the Pink Boots crew brewed Strawbharbie, a strawberry rhubarb ale made right here at Lakefront Brewery. On Wednesday, April 15th, celebrate its release at 5pm right here in the Beer Hall. The brew was made by members of the Pink Boots Society WI and Boston Chapters, and affiliates of the fermentation industry from all over Wisconsin. A portion of the proceeds will go to support the Pink Boots Society which aims to assist, inspire, and encourage women and non-binary individuals in the fermented/alcoholic beverage industry to advance their careers through education.

Strawbharbie was a creation from Amy-Sue Hazel, the person behind the Pink Boots labels for the past few years. She was inspired by her mom’s jam recipe, producing a sweet and jammy strawberry ale with tart and tangy rhubarb on a crackery pale malt base.

Like last year, we’ll be offering our Pink Boots brew in 12oz cans alongside draft pours and 32oz crowlers. Lakefront will be donating $1 for every full pour, $2 for every crowler, and $1 for each individual can consumed at the brewery to the National and Wisconsin Pink Boots Chapters. In addition to on-site sales, $3 for every 6-pack to go will also be donated. You can schedule a pick up of 6-packs and/or crowlers though our ONLINE ORDERING MENU starting at 9AM on Thursday, April 9th. Individuals can also purchase Strawbharbie in all varieties from our main bar once we open at 3PM.
