FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Lakefront Brewery joins the short list of environmental elites.

MILWAUKEE (April 22, 2020) – On Earth Day, 2020, Lakefront Brewery announces their achievement of becoming a Certified B Corporation®. Certified B Corporations are businesses that meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose.

“This is a level of ethical, environmental and social responsibility that we’ve been working on for quite some time,” says Lakefront Brewery Co-Founder and President, Russ Klisch. “The scoring system of B Lab, the governing body, is extremely thorough. We couldn’t be more proud of our staff and practices.”

Lakefront is the very first brewery in Wisconsin, and the 22nd brewery in the world, to receive Certified B Corporation status.

“Certified B Corporations must prove considerations of their impact on workers, customers, suppliers, community and the environment,” added Lakefront Brand Manager, Michael Stodola. “We were added to the Certified B Corp list just weeks ago.”
