My Turn: Allison Scotch Ale

About the Brewer:
Allison, Lakefront’s Kitchen Manager, brewed this Scotch Ale. Allison’s day starts long before the first curd hits the fryer. Several hours before the Beer Hall doors open, Allison’s there prepping and portioning, battering and breading, making sure there’s nothing but quality going out to hungry customers.
With the night’s last order complete and every station squeaky clean, Allison heads home, where two dogs and a cat wait patiently for their head pats, neck scratches and tummy rubs. When they give her a spare moment, Allison enjoys blending different oil and herb combinations into her very own homemade organic soap.

About the Beer:
Knowing her My Turn would drop with the temperature, Allison wanted a winter warmer all her own. Not everyone’s lucky enough to have two dogs and a cat, after all. That’s why Allison went with this Scotch Ale, so everyone’ll have a big, cozy beer to curl up with during the Wisconsin winter.
This deep amber brew boasts an intense, layered, malty complexity. The moment it hits the glass, count on aromas of golden-brown biscuits, fresh bread crusts, and light brown sugar. The hefty, chewy body brings along flavors of toffee, caramel and graham cracker.
