This beer was brewed by Moses, who handles Excise Tax & Compliance here at Lakefront. Moses deftly navigates the bureaucratic maze of state and federal taxes, makes sure new beer labels are up to snuff and keeps track of all our third-party certifications, like kosher, gluten-free and B Corp.
‘Rasslin with revenuers takes quick wit and a little flare for theatrics, which Moses takes with her to various improv comedy shows around the city. Off the stage and into the forests, a dose of shinrin-yoku helps her recharge and refresh with Mother Nature.

Moses got the idea for her My Turn while leading tours and tending bar at the Brewery. To win over the occasional beer-averse tourgoer, Moses would offer them her signature cocktail of New Grist with a splash of cranberry juice. In her words, “Their look of surprise and appreciation was worth it every time.”
Wanting to take her Moses Cocktail in a summertime direction, she nixed the cranberry and went with blueberries, elderberries and ginger. Expect light blueberry jam and fresh-baked biscuit aromas out of this red-hued Fruit Ale, with flavors of ripened berry medley with a spicy-sweet hint of ginger.
