My Turn: Wendy Doppelbock
The inspiration for her beer hit her while browsing the booths at a beer festival, hunting for the perfect Doppelbock. Wendy wanted to punch up the signature dried fruit and brown bread Doppelbock flavors with dark-roasted Munich malt, then boost the complexity with vanilla and bourbon-soaked oak chips added to the fermenter. Sounds perfect, Wendy!
