Fourth Annual Diaper Drive with Milwaukee Diaper Mission

It’s our fourth annual diaper drive with Milwaukee Diaper Mission right here at Lakefront Brewery! We’re always pleasantly surprised by the turnout, with hopes that we continue to outdo ourselves from the year before.

Family has always been an important part of who we are. Not only have we welcomed countless families through our doors every year, but Lakefront has supported many of its employees in growing their own families. The ongoing FoodShare crisis, combined with recent grocery store closures in Milwaukee, has contributed to a 30% increase in requests for support over the past three months. Milwaukee Diaper Mission is currently serving an average of 3,500 babies per month with diapers, wipes, and training pants. Help us help them meet the needs of our community.

Join us from 11AM to 4PM on Sunday, February 22nd with as many unopened, fully packaged, disposable diapers as you are able to donate! For your donation, we will hand over a Lakefront gift card loaded with cash to spend in the Beer Hall that day or any day in the future. We will give $.25 (25 cents) per diaper (or per 10 baby wipes) with no limit to the amount you can donate. Milwaukee Diaper Mission will accept all sizes but is in greatest need of baby wipes, 2 and 5 sized diapers, and 4T/5T training pants.

Milwaukee Diaper Mission will accept all applicable items they can help distribute but please be aware that diapers, training pants, and wipes will be the only items accepted for Lakefront Brewery gift cards.

All products will be donated to the Milwaukee Diaper Mission who utilizes an efficient and cost-effective distribution model to ensure they get into the hands of the families that need them most. This could be through food pantries, home visiting agencies, mutual aid groups, as well as organizations that support families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
