National Cheese Curd Day returns on Wednesday, October 15th! As a place that serves upwards of 60,000 servings of cheese curds in a calendar year, we make sure to showcase our talents on what should be a Wisconsin State holiday. We’re opening our doors an hour early at 2PM to give folks a head start on their celebrations. As always, the event will feature our gold standard beer-battered curds (w/ garlic ranch), specialty curd flavors, and the return of the popular Lakefront Brewery Cheese Curd Pull Competition. Find our Curds à la Carte parked out front, servin’ our regular curds from 5pm to 8pm for those who just couldn’t wait to get inside.

SPECIALTY FLAVORS

Chicken N’ Waffle Curds – A breakfast-inspired item we can all get behind. Sweet waffle-battered and fried with 11 secret savory spices, topped with bacon, then served with a ribbon of spicy maple bacon syrup. Say it with us. Maple. Bacon. Syrup. (Pairs with Riverwest Stein)

French Onion Curds – A cheese curd twist on Wisconsin’s favorite supper club soup. Beer and onion battered cheese curds with garlic crouton-fried breading served with a side of rich onion gravy. Close your mouth, it’s watering. (Pairs with Lakefront IPA)

Caramel Apple Cheesecake Curds – Our dessert curds have become fan-favorites over the years. This year’s got major fav potential. Fresh cheese curds tossed in a sweet batter with graham cracker breading. Topped with streusel, caramel drizzle, and served with a side of delicate vanilla cream. (Pairs with Eastside Dark)

All 4 options will be available in our standard portion size, usually good for 2 to 3 people. Guests can order all 3 specialty flavors or all 4 curd options for a discounted price.
(The Curd of the Month will not be available on 10/15.)

 

Back by popular demand, the Lakefront Brewery Cheese Curd Pull Competition will be running all day long. Teams of 2 can sign up at our entrance for the next available competition, free of charge. The time for each curd pull battle will be announced in person, but will likely occur every hour at a minimum. Once signed up, teams will meet near the stage, attempt to select the stretchiest curd from the bunch, step up to the pull markers, and test their dexterity! The team with the longest cheese curd string from each competition will receive two $15 gift cards from yours truly. Must be 21+ to compete unless accompanied by a parent.
