Period Supply Drive with Milwaukee Diaper Mission

Two in five menstruators struggle to afford period products, something that shouldn’t be a luxury. Let’s help end period poverty!

We’ve collected nearly 17,000 period products since our first Period Supply Drive with Milwaukee Diaper Mission in 2023. Our drive last May was one of their largest Period Supply Drive donation for 2025. We’re back at it again this year on Sunday, May 3rd, vying to surpass the amounts previously raised and increasing our ongoing total overall. Join us for our fourth annual Period Supply Drive, offering $.25 of Lakefront Brewery gift card credit for each individual disposable tampon or pad donated.

Milwaukee Diaper Mission is a basic needs bank. They partner with local social service agencies to provide a reliable source of essentials, including period supplies. One in four menstruators have struggled to purchase period products in the past year due to lack of income, even missing out on work or school due to the lack of supplies. Milwaukee Diaper Mission utilizes a distribution model that is efficient and cost-effective, ensuring that period supplies get into the hands of the people who need them most. They’ve experienced a noticeable increase in their distribution efforts for period products over the last year, meeting the needs of the 2,116 menstruators they currently serve. We’re here to help keep up and surpass that pace, but we need your help!

Stop by Lakefront on Sunday, May 3rd from 11am to 5pm with as many unopened period supplies as you are able to donate. For your donation, we will hand over a Lakefront gift card loaded with cash to spend in our Beer Hall that day or any day in the future. We will give $.25 (25 cents) per individual disposable item with no limit to the amount you can donate. While they will accept all period products brought in, Milwaukee Diaper Mission is specifically looking for super pads. Their most common period supply requests are regular pads, regular tampons, and super tampons and will also distribute menstrual cups, cloth pads, and period underwear. Gift card credit will only be given for tampons and pads.
