Queen Bean Can Release Party

We’re releasing our 5th annual Pink Boots Collaboration Day (CBD) beer, Queen Bean, on Friday, March 7th! CBD is an international celebration of women and non-binary individuals in the fermented/alcoholic beverage industry – a movement to recognize the impact they have on our industry. This year, 15 women and non-binary individuals joined us in grinding malt, testing gravity, and adding hops to create the caramelly sweet, coffee-blonde ale, Queen Bean. On the lighter side of traditional coffee beers, this blonde ale allows for a more balanced and delicate coffee flavor. Brewed with coffee beans from fellow B Corp, Stone Creek Coffee with the label designed by former Lakefront employee and Pink Boots collaborator, Amy-Sue Hazel.

This year will be our first time offering the Pink Boots brew in 12oz. cans alongside draft pours and crowlers. Lakefront will be donating $1 for every full pour, $2 for every crowler, and $1 for each individual can consumed at the brewery to Pink Boots Society’s National and Wisconsin Chapters. The equivalent of $3 for every 6-pack to go will also be donated. Single cans, 6-packs, and crowlers can be scheduled for pick up through our ONLINE ORDERING MENU starting at 9 AM on Friday, March 7th. Individuals can also purchase Queen Bean in all varieties from our main bar once we open at 11 AM.
