Ronald McDonald House Charities: Battle of the Breweries

We’re excited to be a part of this year’s Pop Tab Collection: Battle of the Breweries for Ronald McDonald House Charities! RMHC provides comfort, care, support, and even a place to stay for families with children who are sick around the world. Locally, the RMHC of Eastern Wisconsin is located right across from Children’s Hospital close by in Wauwatosa. From now through May 10th of 2024, we will be collecting aluminum tabs to donate to our local Ronald McDonald House Charity. Got tabs? Bring them in any time during business hours. Don’t have tabs? Start collecting! We’re up against 7 other breweries and we believe in you to join us in bringing home the win! Aluminum tabs from any can will be accepted but any tabs from our newly renovated canning line will give us all the warm fuzzies. Bring a donation of one standard sandwich bag full of pop tabs and receive one free beer (one per patron, per visit) on us!

Be on the lookout for Doubler Days when you can score TWO free pints for one standard sandwich bag of pop tabs.

Since 2000, recycling the little aluminum tabs from cans has generated over $400,000 for our Ronald McDonald House. We are so grateful to our community partners for making this program possible. Pop tab collecting is an easy and thoughtful way to support our families and our environment! As our House is located in “Brew City”, it only made sense to partner with incredible local brewers and entrepreneurs in our community who create canned beverages to collect pop tabs. Thus in 2023, the “Battle of the Breweries” was born. Eight local breweries will compete to see who can collect the most tabs. This is where you come in!
