Maifest: Gluten-Free Festival

We’re happy to announce our 3rd annual Lakefront Brewery Maifest – a gluten-free celebration of Spring!

After 2 successful years of providing an array of gluten-free goodies, we’re back at it again. You showed up big in 2023 for our springtime outdoor festival. so we’re adding vendors, increasing inventories, and doing our best to push that temperature up to at least 70 degrees.

On Sunday, May 19th, from 11AM to 3PM we’ll be celebrating spring and all things gluten-free with mouth-watering food, a wide variety of beverages (mostly gluten-free), art, crafts, and other labors of love. The entire area to the east of our building will be transformed into an outdoor marketplace that is best strolled with a beverage in hand. Not only will we be serving up our 3 gluten-free New Grist varieties in full force but 3 Maifest-exclusive gluten-free cask beers will be available. We didn’t stop there, you can also enjoy gluten-free Bloody Marys and specialty coffee drinks.

Have you heard? Lakefront’s CurdWagon is going all gluten-free in 2024! Come have a first chance at some of our refreshed gluten-free offerings including the debut of our cookies & cream cheese curds! The following food vendors will also be serving up hot and fresh entirely gluten-free food:

Saunter through our renovated patio and take in views of the Milwaukee River and skyline as you sip and nosh on the best gluten-free goodies Milwaukee has to offer. This event is meant to accommodate those with a gluten intolerance and will feature all gluten-free food and beverages (with the exception of some of our beers). Maifest is also kid-friendly! Don a flower May crown, get a kids’ glitter tattoo or twisted balloon, and enjoy live music as you frolic to your heart’s desire. While this isn’t a pet-centric event, well-behaved pups are welcome in our outdoor space.

Don’t forget to check out the Lakefront Brewery clearance sale, expect some fresh items that we’ve uncovered over the last year at a major discount. We do our best to put out some neat retro and more current items that tend to go quickly. First come, first served while supplies last!
